Spooky Halloween Nail Ideas to Try in 2021

Have you been itching to create some ghostly new nail designs, but not sure where to start? We've curated a list of over 100 different easy, simple, and unique Halloween nail art designs you can try at home today. Use them as inspiration to create your own ideas!

The Spider Web Ombre

This design might look complicated, but it's really not! Create an ombre pattern on your nails as a base and then use a small nail art brush to draw in the spider webs and spider. Spider webs are especially easy to draw--they're just lines! You don't have to use orange, either. You can try this look with a green or purple as well.

The Jack-o-lantern

This look is especially easy--just use an orange dip or acrylic powder as your base, and then go crazy drawing on black faces with a nail art pen! The faces don't need to be perfect, either. The worst that can happen is you'll have a dopey looking pumpkin face on your nail.. but don't worry. You can pretend it was a purposeful design.

Pink Halloween

Who knew Halloween could look good in pink? While this includes more advanced nail art shapes, you can still get it to look good without too much effort. Ghosts, bats, and webs are all simple and easy shapes to draw. But maybe try them first on a dumby nail, just to be safe!

The Frankenstein

This is one of those designs that is perfect for dip nail powder! You can dip your finger into three different colors at odd angles, and then paint over the intersections with the stitching. You can even use a multitude of different Halloween color combinations, like black+green+white, or black+orange+purple, or black+purple+green... you get the picture!

The Candycorn

Doesn't this design make your mouth water? It seems like there's a huge divide on the deliciousness of Candycorn--you either love it, or you hate it. But whether you like it or not, you have to admit these nails look super cool and ready for Halloween! While you don't 'need' to use a stiletto nail shape, using a more pointed look will give you that extra WOW factor. The ombre technique is the perfect tool to get this look done right. Just be careful and don't let anyone mistake your nails for the real thing.
