We were pretty hesitant to make a primarily "green" collection--mainly because green isn't always popular. But pairing it with different gold tones really enhances the greens and gives them a very enchanting/woodsy look for fall! In the past, we haven't always created our collections with "matching" colors in mind, but Whispering Woods was intended to work together as a set. For instance, the matte green, Secret Garden, should pair really well with any of the other glitters in the set. You'll find us making "matching" sets much more in the future, just because people tend to use the colors from the same collection, together.
When we were trying to think of names for this collection, our first thought was to give it a "mysterious" and "mystical" vibe. So we went with some high-fantasy inspired names that you'd usually find in books or MMOs (massive multiplayer online games). We didn't realize it until later... but not everyone knows what a "High Elf" is (it's a common race of elves in folklore). So it probably sounds like a very strange name choice to those that don't know. Whoops...
On another note, this collection only has ONE chunky glitter in it (Camouflage). Can you believe it? We can't! We've been releasing a lot of chunkier glitters over the last few months and received a lot of emails requesting the smaller glitters because they're easier to apply. So we wanted to accommodate our smaller glitter crowd!
